This limited edition Sprint Run version equips the Lil' Native with a blade made of CPM 15V, an exceptional material that has the highest wear resistance of any cold work steel available today. Its unique alloy composition contains nearly 15 percent vanadium to create an exceptionally high volume of vanadium carbides in its microstructure. For knife blades, this means unparalleled cutting performance and edge retention. Spyderco's CPM 15V elite knives are further enhanced by a special heat treatment protocol developed by renowned knifemaker Shawn Houston.
